I have checked the mic with all the other apps, all the other tests on Mic I have done, but I just cant seem to make the mic work in Zoom meetings. Additionally, The mic. But the speakers don't work when this happens. It is possible that you're facing the issue because you haven't enabled Microphone privacy settings in Windows For step by step instructions.

The post also has other solutions which worked for users reporting about the same issue. IF the response and links from A. User and Viney do not already help If it does not, however, and your computer shows all other apps, I would try re-installing Zoom. Since you said the mic works if you connect the external, perhaps work with that? Are your speakers external? You might have to re-insert them and select them as primary.

You might have to reboot and re-check those settings after initializing them. It does not work on zoom only!! Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community. The microphone stopped working on my daughter's reasonably new HP laptop in Zoom only. I checked the privacy settings and it's enabled. The microphone seems to work everywhere else except Zoom. I went into the Zoom settings, chose the proper microphone, tested it, and it did not work. The speaker works fine. My next move is to uninstall and reinstall Zoom.
